2001 – 2020

We began in 2001 as Not Quite Opera Productions and became New Musical Theater of San Francisco in 2013. For nearly twenty years we developed and produced original musicals, close to a thousand performances for more than ten thousand people, many of them in our own fifty-seat house, the Alcove Theater near Union Square.

These pages are the record of that work: the shows, the people who made them, and the room where so much of it happened.
