Peter Alexander's musical love story deals with getting through life in a time of upheaval, and the guiding forces that help us face the events of each day. It tells the story of Amy, a television reporter, and her true love Jerry, a comic strip artist, and how they both cope with traumatic change as they reckon with their individual futures. Love, compassion and humor abound, amplified by Alexander's beautiful score.
This was a semi-staged reading of a show that had been in development for several years, presented by Arrowhead Productions and co-produced by NMTSF. Songs from it were first heard in our Round One Cabaret.
